Hi, I'm Bob. I live on a farm in North America. We've had very dry summers lately which harmed our crops. Some say it is because of global warming.

What do you know about global warming?
What can we do to stop global warming?

Hi, I'm Bob. I live on a farm in North America. We get our drinking water from our well. We have a giant pump that brings up the water from under the ground. We need to carefully check our water to see if it is clean before we drink it. We order testing kits to test our water.

Do you have your own private well?
Do you know if the groundwater under your feet is drinkable? How do you test the water you drink?

Hi, I'm Bob. I live on a farm in North America. We have to deal with the waste our cows produce. Animal manure can be useful, but can also be a problem.

Do you use animal manure to fertilize?
Do you have farms around you where animal waste is a problem?
Do you know where human waste goes?

Hi, I'm Bob. I live on a farm in North America. Our farm uses many different energy sources. We get electricity at our farm from a nearby power plant. We have lots of farm machines that use gas fuel to run. We also have generators to use in case of power shortages, but it would only help for a short time.

What energy sources does your home use?
What would you do if those sources were gone?

Hi, I'm Bob. I live on a farm in North America. The cows on our farm give milk, but we don't know who exactly buys our products.

Do you know where the milk you drink is coming from?
Do you know where your food is coming from?
Do you have animals at home that provides food?
Do you grow anything in your garden that you could eat?

"Yes, we know where milk comes from. It comes from cows. We also know from where our food comes from. Meat comes from animals. For example, beef comes from cows. And chicken wings come from chickens. Other foods like potatoes and carrots come from the ground. Apples and bananas come from trees, though. We have fish. The kind we have are too small to eat, though. We grow tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers." [Julia and Anna - USA]

The milk comes from cows, but we don't have animals at home for food. My grandparents used to have some, like pigs andchickens. [Egon - Hungary]
