H, I'm
Cindy. I live in a town in Australia. We have a lot of cars in my town,
and in the summer we often have smog over the town that makes my asthma
really bad.
I always get a bad cough on hot, summer
days when the air smells bad, too. But now my mom can look up on the
internet how clean the air is, which is called "air quality index",
and she doesn't let me go out when it's really bad.

We have smog in our city - its a really big city anyway -but fortunately
it does not make me sick. Usually I go by bicycle to the school. [Kori

Hi, I'm
Cindy. I live in a town in Australia. We have running water here, and
I see us wasting it. We waste it in when we sprinkle our lawn, when
we flush our toilet, when we let it run during toothbrushing, or when
we want to drink really cold tapwater. Being so careless with water
makes me upset.
Hi, I'm
Cindy. I live in a town in Australia. We have a glass factory that recycles
waste to make new glass. This also saves energy. I also like to make
things out of cans and boxes.
We have sun collectors that heats the water in our
pool. [Johannes- Australia]
Hi, I'm
Cindy. I live in a town in Australia. Our town has lots of buildings
and roads, but it only has a few parks. We can't step on the grass in
these parks. We can't keep big animals at our houses either. Some animals
we only get to see in the Zoo.
